This page shows the Email Addresses registered to your account. In addition to your Log In (Primary) address, you may have up to 5 additional Email Addresses.
The Primary Email Address is the one you use to log in. We will send a regular status report to you at this address. You can control the frequency of this Report from the My Details page.
You can change your Primary Email Address by clicking on the "Change" button. You will be guided through the necessary steps. When the process is complete you will use the new address to log in, your saved searches will be updated, and future status reports will go to the new address.
You can also have Additional Email Addresses on your account. Whenever you use an email-based My ASPC service, for example saving a search or contacting a Solicitor, you can choose for some or all of these additional email addresses to also receive that email. So, for example, you can send the results from saved searches to your partner, or your housemates, or to yourself at another email address - home and work, perhaps.
Each Email Address has a status. Click on the status for a description of what it means. A description of the various statuses can be found here.
You can get more details for an Email Address, and change the name you call it, by clicking on the "Edit" button. If there have been any problems delivering email to this address, they will be shown there.
Use this link to add a new Email Address to your account. These email addresses can then receive, for example, the results from your saved searches. You will be able to control which email addresses receive which results. In addition to your Log In (Primary) address, you may have up to 5 additional email addresses.
Before any additional email addresses can be used by the system, the recipient will have to confirm their willingness to receive email from your account. When you create a new address, the system will send it an email. By following its simple instructions, the recipient will be able to confirm that they wish to receive email from you.
