Bieldside is a leafy, residential suburb of Aberdeen, situated approximately six miles to the west of the city centre on the route to Royal Deeside. Things to do in Bieldside

The area is well served by local amenities which include a local pub/restaurant, The Bieldside Inn, as well as a foodstore, hairdresser and the nearby Deeside Golf Club, founded in 1903 and widely regarded as one of the most attractive parkland golf clubs in Scotland.

As well as its own amenities, Bieldside benefits from easy access to the amenities in the neighbouring suburbs of Cults, Milltimber and Peterculter, in addition to all of Aberdeen’s amenities, which include shopping malls, leisure and recreational facilities, parks and gardens, cinemas and theatres. There are also a number of excellent schools in the area, including Cults Primary School, Cults Academy - one of Scotland’s top-performing secondary schools - and the nearby International School of Aberdeen.

For the outdoors enthusiast, the open green spaces of Royal Deeside offer a range of activities for all ages and Deeside Way also passes through Bieldside. This long distance path runs from Aberdeen city centre to Ballater and was previously the old Deeside Railway line; Queen Victoria would often stop at Bieldside on her regular journeys between her summer retreat at Balmoral and the city centre.
