History of Cove Bay

Originally a fishing village, Cove has been associated with other industries over the years, including granite, which was quarried locally and exported to many locations throughout the UK where it was used to build many of the UK’s roads. Today, many of Cove’s residents work in Aberdeen and the nearby Altens and Tullos Industrial Estates also offer employment opportunities to residents.

While Cove is now part of Aberdeen, it retains its charming village character and has lots to offer those who live there.
