Glenlivet is also home to the famous Glenlivet Distillery, which was founded in 1824 and creates one of the most famous and best-loved whiskies in the world, and there are other historic whisky distilleries nearby including Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas, Macallan, and Aberlour.
