Keith is a market town in Moray situated just under 50 miles north-west of Aberdeen and 55 miles east of Inverness on the A96. The town’s population currently numbers approximately 4,800.

Old Keith - which lies to the west of the river Isla - dates back to the 12th century, while the rest of the town on the other side of the river developed later. In the 18th century, the town expanded further when the Earl of Findlater designed New Keith - the first planned town in the north east of Scotland.
