Most Viewed Properties of 2018

Each week we take a look at the most viewed property on our ASPC site. In this round up, we unveil the top five most viewed homes of 2018.

Last year, we had a range of five luxury mansions feature as our most viewed properties. It appears that 2018 has brought an array of different homes, in all shapes in sizes, yet they have reached thousands of views on the ASPC site.

Number 1

With over 45,000 views, our most viewed property of the year led the way by quite a substantial amount. This stunning architect-designed three-bedroom home in Portlethen offers the most spectacular views over the North Sea.

Patio doors and glass side screens flood the open-plan kitchen dining room with lots of natural light and provide an open aspect towards the sea. The home is modern throughout, with an open tread staircase and beautiful secluded decking area in the garden.

Number 2

Our second most viewed property certainly has that ‘wow’ factor. The Victorian property has a rich history dating back to 1840 and has had a Commemorative Tower built to remember the brave citizens who fell at the Battle of Harlaw.

Such a unique property has lots to offer including cathedral windows, a beautiful conservatory, tennis court and stable block, all set in 3 acres of grounds.

Number 3

Breathtaking views seem to be a theme amongst our most viewed properties this year. Although, this 5-bed villa offers a different type of view, stretching for miles across the Aberdeenshire countryside.

The property in Inverurie takes on a Georgian American style, with wraparound decking, Georgian sash and case windows, period radiators with stylish Burlington bathrooms and kitchen fitments.

Out of all the thousands of people that viewed this property, we are most envious of the lucky homeowner as this luxurious property is no longer on the market. There are plenty other homes for sale in the lovely Inverurie area, you can check them out on our site here.

Number 4

This former bakery has been converted into an attractive home which over 30,000 of you were drawn to. The home is located in the village of Echt, set in the beautiful countryside yet only 14 miles from Aberdeen city centre.

The Old Bakery is contemporary in style, with lots of natural light and modern finishes. As well as large living spaces and four bedrooms, the home offers a large balcony with stunning views across the surrounding countryside.

Number 5

It’s easy to see why this striking home in Cults attracted so many of you. The 1870’s granite villa sits beautifully in its 1.44-acre grounds with picturesque views across the Dee Valley.

The unique, period features are what make this home so special. From bay windows, stained glass, pitch pine woodwork, cast iron radiators, feature fireplaces and exposed granite stonework in the garden room, this beautiful home has it all.
