Aberdeen property market continues to show encouraging results in Q1 review
May 05, 2022
This last index is interesting because it has been a negative figure for some years but in recent years has been diminishing – indicating that prices are slowly heading back to where they once were. In effect, losses are slowly being recovered.
Aberdeen property market shows encouraging results in Q4 market report
February 10, 2022
The report released by the Centre for Real Estate Research at the University of Aberdeen Business School, for the fourth quarter of the year has just been released. While the results demonstrate a fall back, to some extent, from the position in the preceding (third) quarter, a significant part of that will be down, I suggest, to 1 main factor. The fourth quarter is often a relatively quiet quarter, when the activity decreases as the year end approaches.
Aberdeen property market shows signs of a steady recovery in Q3
November 02, 2021
This quarter, the results continue the improving picture set out in the Reports for the first two quarters of 2021. The third quarter figures are of interest because there can be years when the results foretell a disappointing year. I am happy to be able to report that the third quarter results continue to show a steady improvement of previous years and show a small but significant “milestone” achieved.
Aberdeen property market shows signs of recovery in Q2 review
July 27, 2021
Since the easing, in part, of the lockdown around late summer last year, it became clear that our local market was showing good activity in property sales, across the board, as our market sought to “catch up” after the enforced shut down. Aberdeen property market sees positive movement in Q1 2021
May 11, 2021
Last year was unusual for everyone, but especially for the Aberdeen property market. After a mildly encouraging start, the local market was stopped in its tracks by lockdown, only to recover, strongly, later in the year. In my last market review, I remember endeavouring to dampen expectations for 2021 and was concerned not to raise hopes as the success could be short-lived.
