Moving Home Update

Post lockdown recovery continues throughout Q3 of 2020

Four properties benefitting from the LBTT holiday

September 03, 2020

In July, the Scottish Government increased the threshold for Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) for residential property transactions. The temporary change to the rules raises the Nil Rate Band or “threshold” for LBTT to £250,000 for residential transactions, with the intention of discontinuing the measure on 31st March 2021
